About HealingYoga
As a healer and yoga teacher, my philosophy around yoga is that energy and healing are equally necessary to develop - alongside yoga philosophy and anatomy. My experience says that the more we know and understand about energy work, the more magic we can create in the yoga room and class itself. This space that we hold for the participants is a sacred space and it should give those who are there not only inspiration or motivation - it should give the energy and healing they need.
I have been teaching for the last 15 years and this is how I now see it!
Yoga came as a blessing and a healing tool into a world full of stress which in my belive is the cause and root to most of our physical and mental challenges. For me yoga became a great tool for selfhealing in 2007, but I noticed that yoga gave me even more when I combined my knowlegde about energy. This old wisdom I was so grateful to have received by my mentors, teachers and spiritual leaders. It became my passion and still after so many years, HealingYoga is what I choose to give to the people. Because....when you understand energy, how to work with it and to combine it with yoga, you can help yourself so much more!
Our spiritual awareness grows...
When I teach yoga I see and meet great wisdom from the group. We live in a digital time where we can learn so much from the internet. Books, courses, movies, music..it's a huge world where we can find answers to all our questions. But, still....there is nothing like our own wisdom and intuition... That's why yoga and meditation always will matter the most: to return to our hearts and soul for inner peace, clarity and guidance.
This is what you will experience in a HealingYoga class:
- The yoga exercises are taken from the more classical and Hatha, but are done more naturally. They are less static and should allow for more flow of energy in one with soft movements.
- We carefully consider the breath and exercises and its healing effect (breathwork, pranayama)
- We focus more on our chakra system - less focus on the physical.
- We spend time on intention, goal work, affirmation, visualization and manifestation which gives power and strength on the path to you as a participant. This also increases the healing frequency in you.
- There are themes at the beginning of the class that should be able to provide guidance within a life in balance.
- You will understand more of your own spirituality.
- There are inner journeys and meditations for increased healing. Drums, rattles, mantras, chanting, etc. are also used here.
- You will achieve balance, strength, flexibility and well-being in all areas.
- You will learn to know yourself more which in turn will help you with increased quality of life and joy!

When yoga and healing come together you will be able to balance yourself even more! I have put together my tools through 15 years of teaching and experience as a healer and yoga teacher. These are important tools that help my participants to get better in touch with their inner self and a deeper relaxed state. Beautiful mantras, drum journeys, singing bowls, music from all over the world, visualization techniques - yes, you get a journey from the first second you enter the hall - and you should try!
Breathing & Meditation
No breath no life!
Breathing is one of the most basic physiological processes in the body and almost everything in the body is connected to it. Learning to know your own breath (yes, we are all different!) is essential for good health and quality of life. When you breathe correctly, the blood gets more oxygen, which gives new life to our internal organs while they are cleansed. By breathing calmly and deeply, you achieve a mental state of calm and peace. The deeper the breath, the calmer the mind. By becoming more aware of our breathing, we can significantly increase our quality of life.
In my classes you will always find careful explanation and guidance in breathing that will help you get more out of your yoga session. Breathing exercises are part of the practice that will also vary depending on the hour and energy. During meditation, the breath should be allowed to flow freely, your own rhythm. However, many people need guiding before a meditative state can be achieved. Thats why Savasana and relaxation are very important in every yogaclass...it's the first step towards deeper meditations.
